    I do, too!

Our must-watch is actually Olive, the Other Reindeer. It's super corny but the boys adore it. I've had to limit them to watching it only from Black Friday to New Years because they would watch it 3-4 times a week year-round.

Charlie Brown Christmas special. I love It's a Wonderful Life, but it's not a tradition here the way Charlie Brown is. The one I don't like is that Christmas Story movie (I think that's what it's called...about the b-b gun?).

The original Grinch is my favorite!!!

I kinda like the one with the B-B Gun!

I also like BOTH versions of Miracle on 34th Street, but I much prefer the way the original got Kris off in court!

    Me too!

With dd we always watch Year Without a Santa Claus, A Charlie Brown Christmas, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Sometimes we also watch Nester the Long Eared Donkey and Little Drummer Boy too.

As for me: Miracle on 34th Street (must be the original), Holiday Inn, White Christmas, Scrooge (Alistar Sims), Bells of St. Mary (they always had this on tv on Christmas eve when I was growing up),It's a Wonderful Life and ofcourse A Muppet Christmas Carol (dd sometimes watches it but it is not her favorite but dh loves it.)

I'd love to see Bells of St. Mary again (though Carl would gag over it!!!). I don't really consider it a Christmas movie, but it sure is a good one!

What about that one old movie, can't remember the name.... The Preacher's Wife, maybe...? I'm thinking it had Cary Grant as an angel. I think they've done a remake of it, with a slightly different name. But it was pretty good!

I FOUND IT! It's called "The Bishop's Wife"!

We dont celebrate Christmas at home, but there are certain things we do every year, such as sending gifts and cards to Christian friends, and we always rent Griswold's Christmas, I think its called...?

When I was little, they used to air the Ten Commandments on TV every year around christmas time, and that became a tradition for us to watch.
Although, in hindsight, I dont know why they chose the Ten Commandments, lol :)

I don't know Griswold's Christmas. I'll have to look that one up....

(We watched the Ten Commandments a few weeks ago to go along with our History!)

Jackie, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (starring the Griswolds) played last night on ABCFamily...

My DH's FAVORITE Christmas movie is that one about the Red Ryder BB Gun. If I see it just once more, I may throw up. It's a very clever movie, but you can only watch it so many times....

OH!!! National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation!!! Now THAT I know, though I've never cared to see it! (And I agree, "You'll shoot your eye out!!!" grows old after a while!)

I love that one too! I just started watching that a few years ago. I did see it on I think it was AMC over the summer, not exactly the right season.

I have been really disappointed at the selection of holiday movies on so far this year. Hopefully the selections will be better this coming week or else I have to drag out some dvds.

We had ds watching the original Miracle on 34th St. last night. He was bummed at first because it was black and white . He got over it soon and was completely into it.

We started watching Christmas movies in November when we put up the tree :D. Yep, we love Christmas at our house. We have watched (multiple times) Santa Claus (#1 and #2 with Tim Allen), Rudolph, the Grinch (the newer version), Frosty (a couple different ones), and other random ones we have found on Netflix (found it much harder to search for than I expected).

The older the boys get, the fewer Christmas movies they will sit and watch for the fourteenth time. (lol) Jackie, I like The Bishop's Wife also. The remake was with Whitney Houston and Denzel Washington- that one might be The Preacher's Wife? It was okay too. The boys like Scrooged with Bill Murray- but that might not be the cozy, Christmas movie you all mean. ;)

Have you ever seen "Ebbie" with Susan Lucci? (Ebbie is her version of Ebenezer Scrooge.) I don't know why I like that one, as the acting is almost painful sometimes, but I look for that one each year. It was not played last year and I haven't seen it yet this year, so maybe I was the only one who watched it! ha-ha

I enjoy all of the old ones from growing up using claymation?? (is that right?). Rudolf, Santa Claus is coming to Town, etc. I'm not as fond of the newer "romance" Christmas movies either. Just can't get into most of those.

Oh, does anyone remember Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas? And of course, we watch the original animated Grinch and Frosty movies every year.

Another one we use to watch every year when I was a kid was Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. That's the Ebenezer Scrooge I grew up with!!!

MT3, I've never seen Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas as a movie. BUT, when the girls were younger, we took them to see Phoenix Theatre's production of it. Phoenix is a Children's Theatre troupe in Columbus. It was very well done!

We love A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, all the cheesy silly ones. We watch the classics too and I can't wait to show my kids Emmet Otter. I LOVED that one when I was little:)

Wow, I really thought I'd be the only one to post Mr. Magoo!! It's our #1 must watch, with White Christmas as #2.

So...every year, around the holidays, when my sis and bro are at my moms, the kids and I call my mom on the phone...and we all sing that holiday classic:

    "We're des-picable! We make ourselves...plain sick-able"

That is seriously my family's Christmas tradition. When we start singing LA! LA! LALALALA! the dog joins in...we like to say it's cuz she's part of the family but I think it's because we're so bad.
