Bobby is home from the Army for Christmas! He and his wife flew in last night and we got them home around 8pm. Our older daughter and her husband came over for a little while and then our oldest son, who is a cop in our town, stopped by. It is going to be a busy couple of weeks around here! So excited! Beth
Yea!!! I know you are enjoying yourself! We had hoped to have all of ours home for Christmas but it looks like Jane and Isabella won't get to come. It still will be a full house!
I know it is getting close to Christmas when everyone's families start collecting at home! Woo hoo! Enjoy them!
Thank you all for your kind words. We are super excited to get to see them twice in one year. Right now he is supposed to deploy again in the Spring, but I keep praying he won't have to go at all. He and Jennifer have been married for a year now. Can you believe this it the same son that nearly drove us crazy just a few years ago? We are so proud of how far he has come since we adopted him 9 years ago. Jennifer loves NC and they are talking about moving here if he does not re-enlist when his time is up. We will see. They are really wanting a baby and there seems to be a problem. I don't know all the details yet, but I think part of it is her size. She is TINY! The doctor says she needs to gain some weight. I think she might hit 90 pounds or just under it. She is much smaller than my 13 year old. Bobby is red headed and Jennifer is a strawberry blonde so if they do have a baby some day I would love a little red-headed granddaughter! And you guys will be the first to know!
oh Beth I am so excited for you all. I hope you all enjoy the holidays and have a wonderful time with everyone home.
Ya know, there's excitement you can live without, and then there's excitement that really makes life worth living! Hope you enjoy ALL the excitement around your place right now!
Beth, sounds like you are enjoying Bobby and his wife being home. Praying they will have many sweet grandbabies for you to spoil and that they will be moving down by you.
If she needs to gain some weight, at least Christmas at Mom's is the time/place to do it, right??? LOL Enjoy your holidays, Beth!
