Hello to all! I just thought I would introduce myself. We are in our 3rd year of homeschooling - and having a blast! We are looking forward to learning new things, having great experiences, and making new friends. We use Saxon Math, Horizons Phonics, A/O Science and Bible, and anything else that looks good. DS and I both "do" karate - he's a yellow belt and I'll be testing for mine in 2 weeks. I hope everyone is having a great summer, and ready for a terrific fall!

New to site and a question Hi all, I just discovered this site. I am always on the look-out for sites that may be passed on to new/struggling homeschoolers, as well as veterans who just want to connect with others! We are entering our eleventh official year of hs'ing, although home learning starts at birth! I L-O-V-E hs'ing, and see the rewards all the time now that my children are older. (Oldest 16, youngest 8). It can feel overwhelming at times and we all have our unique challenges, but it is worth the commitment. Not to mention, we have so much fun! God is truly faithful to those who seek him. I do have one question: does anyone have a recommendation for a Christian pen-pal for an 11 y.o. girl? She would like to have a pen-pal via email, and I am just starting to search for a trustworthy resource. Thanks for any ideas. Wendy
I too am looking for a place to find pen pals for my two girls ages 13 and 8. I hope someone has good ideas on how to safely find them a new friend.
