I've always had issues with dairy products..... I seam to ignore them for Pizza or ice cream. although I seam to remember hearing soft cheese like mozzerella has different properties than harder ones like cheddar. but in my kid days .... I wouldn't even eat cheese on pizza;)

Oh that would be hard on a kid in my house. We base meals on what kind of cheese we have in the fridge!

Well we will party tomorrow. I have made, corn dip, Paula deans fruit dip, and a cowboy caviar type dip. I have little smokies, some bean dip and salsa too. Oh I also made spinach dip, and another ranch type veggie dip.
I am very excited, because I love how all of these have turned out. I also love dips and chips. I also like that I will not have to do anything once people get here. I hate having to be in my little kitchen when people are here.

Yippee! The party was a huge success! That corn dip was the favorite of everybody. People asked for the recipe, and I have only a little left. Thank you all so much. I had a great time, and part of it was because of the good ideas you all gave me.

I was referring to Kelly's corn dip, it was amazing. I was thinking we might just have it for dinner one night. LOL

LOL I had some friends take some home and make a meal out of it, it was really good. I made it a couple of days ahead and let it sit in the fridge. I can't believe how much the flavor changed during that time. It really needs to sit in the fridge.

    Late chiming in................

    Crustinies:

    Thinly sliced french bread
    butter
    spices you enjoy
    onion and red pepper
    Shredded cheese, your choice

Saute' onion in olive oil, remove and saute' red pepper. Mix butter and spices. Butter thinly sliced french bread on both sides and brown till crisp in a skillet on both sides.

Place a little bit of cheese on cooked bread, then top with veggies then more cheese. Repeat until all prepared.

Bake in 450 degree oven until cheese is melted.

    Serve~
