Do you play games on Facebook? I have recently been introduced to that Word game that looks like Scrabble and I love it! I keep doing dumb things like deleting or declining people without meaning too, but so far they have been patient with me. You can see I am not great at the whole idea of online games, but I do enjoy the word games. I also love some of the fast paced games like the ones where you have to line up gems or jewels. I like Farkle too. What about you? Do you play any and what is your favorite? Right now my favorite is the Word with friends game.
I play Words With Friends too. I have about 6 games going right now:lol: I also play Gardens of Time. That one makes me think a bit. I am always looking for new neighbors on there if anyone else plays.
I don't play any games on FB, because to do so gives them the right to pass your info on to whomever. Rachael, however, is a big SCRABBLE fan, and plays with a bunch of her friends.
I play word with Friends also. I only have like 10 games going on... It seems like every family member I have wants to play me... I keep declining some but they keep asking! I LOve that game.
I used to play everything I could. Then I got totally irritated when they would come up with a new thing and you wanted it and you had to have like 100 neighbors or friends or whatever. It became annoying and I decided to just stop all together. I still have my farms and cities and other things because my mom plays and asked me not to delete them. I might someday...
I only play Words with Friends, and then I only play with my immediate family. I had my kids remove all apps (as did I) for privacy reasons. I just did start playing Words with Friends a few weeks ago, so we'll see how comfortable I am with it. I should preface this post with the fact that I'm about ready to delete all of our accounts. I just had a friend get her account shut down by Facebook for posting religiously "offensive" posts. Another friend is on her second time of it and has been banned for 30 days. I don't like the direction it is going overall.
I only play Words with Friends, but only through email invites, not through Facebook. I find that the number of games can get overwhelming and interfere with what I SHOULD be doing.
I used to play Farmville and Bejeweled Blitz a lot. I still play from time to time but I got tired of not having enough coins and I have no intention on purchasing any. I recently, actually a couple of months ago, started playing Gardens of Time and LOVE IT! But my computer doesn't like all the graphics for some reason and doesn't always load properly. How do you play Words? I have been invited but am curious if it is something I would enjoy.
I used to do the same but deleted them and block every invite I get for the invites as they come to me for the same reasons. A little too creepy for me to have all my personal information shovelled out at will I guess
its just like scrabble..... the person inviting you has probably put up a word with his or her tiles, you play off of thier tiles, trying to score as many points as you can playing on the squares that have DW (double word) or TW, (tripple word) etc..... you can pass if you don't have a move or you can draw new tiles if there are any left...... the games can take as long as needed to finish. Kris and I play I think we have 2 games going right now you can have up to 20 games going at any one time. you don't have to be good at it..... its still fun. some I win, some I loose (by a lot) and some are pretty evenly matched.
I play Words with Friends on my Android. I have about 7 games going... with the same friend! lol and a couple other games with other friends. Hey, does anyone know if the Android app can play against a Facebook account? I think my dad would enjoy it, but he doesn't have a smartphone, though he has a facebook account. I'd rather keep all my games on my app if I can.
I know the iPad version of WWF interfaces with Facebook. I always forget to take my turn, though, and end up timing out of my games. lol. I used to love Gardens of Time but all my friends quit playing and I can't get enough supplies to build/upgrade buildings anymore.
Thanks! We'll have to try it. that was why I quit Farmville. They made it so difficult to play to the full extent individually. And I'm not going to add random people to my Facebook/Farm just to play a silly game. Sad, since I really enjoyed playing and was perfectly happy playing even though I only had about 5 active neighbors. But "quests" would time out before I could gather enough supplies.
I play words with friends and Farmville. I gave up on everything else because I don't want to nag my friends. I don't try to advance in quests in farmville other than the usual pop ups, I focus on crop mastery. I use tthat time to pray for whomever farm I am visiting. I have to be careful because it is addictive and I am giving up some privacy in order to be entertained for free. I decided the trade off is worth it for now... in the future, I may change my mind, though.
I'm enjoying playing WWF with several of my friends from here. I'm also on Gardens of Time if someone needs new neighbors. I don't get on a whole lot but try to make sure I try to make sure I respond to requests.
I love Words with Friends! I have 29 out of 39 "awards", but who's counting, right??? LOL I still play CityVille and Wild West Town, but I gave up on Treasure Isle and Pioneer Trail totally. I haven't played Jeopardy! in awhile, because my sister's computer went down and it just isn't as much fun when she's not there for me to whup up on! LOL I play $100,000 Pyramid occasionally, and Family Feud. I've played Zuma, but not in awhile, and Bejeweled Blast, but not in awhile. I like the word games on MindJolt but only play every now and then. What I can't believe is how people are willing to spend REAL money to play things like that! Especially CityVille! Nope, ain't happening here!
How do I pull up the list of 39 awards on Words with friends? I wonder what other awards there is that I haven't earned.
If you are on computer instead of phone, there's probably a column on the right of the screen, that lists those of your friends who are playing games, what they're playing and how many minutes ago. Mine shows up with my profile pic and name "has earned 29 of 39 achievements in Words With Friends." When I click on that, it lists the "achievements" and what you have to do to get that one. Stuff like so many points in a game, so many points in a word, playing a word across a TW and a TL square at the same time, playing a word across a DL and a DW square at the same time, so many points you and your opponent together in a game... oh, and "Bingo" which is using all 7 letters in a turn.
