So we're not getting much done these days. Anyone else have the Mid-winter blues? I'm a bit early this year with it! I'm going to have to do something fun to spice things up.

We're doing a unit study on robots (not my forte so it's taken some effort to get into it). I called today to try to organize a 1 day workshop from a center that does Lego Robotics classes. Hopefully that will add some much needed excitement to our week!

Really though, DH is taking the lead on this one. Last weekend we got more school done than the whole 5 days before!

Take a break! Your kids are still little. I'm sure they learned plenty last week - even if you just read books. Thank goodness for DH's sometimes!

Definitely take a break! My kids are close in age to yours, and we take lots of breaks. Seriously, like every two weeks because I get burned out with trying to meet all of their needs still and schooling at the same time.

We haven't been doing much either. We have had so many "breaks" already this year. I figure that it is okay because one of the reason we decided to hs is because we need the flexibility of not having a schedule. I think my kids have done more work in the car and at a doctors office than they have at home.
    They are still learning though.
My children decided about 2 months ago that they wanted to do a project. I didn't ask them. We were having a "lazy" day and all the sudden I got a report on planets, a report on Egypt and a beautiful picture of what happened to the outside in the hurricane (thanks to my 6 year old).
The way I figure, my children are learning even if we don't have our faces in a book all day, every day.
