In other words, what websites do you subscribe to that cost you money and that are part of your HSing.

ClicknKids - I forget what it cost us but I think it was a one time payment of something like $60.
    http://www.clicknkids.com/

    SmartTutor - 18 clams a month.
    www.smarttutor.com

clicknkids was a very good buy. Smartutor seems good to so far, but we haven't used it for that long yet.

but there are so many other good ones.....I wonder what I might be missing?

I subscribe to ixl.com and did the year membership through homeschoolbuyerscoop to get the discount.

I subscribe to Clicknkids.com - the phonics part only, one time payment, and I can transfer my subscription one time to another person (which I will do after my youngest is finished with it). I also subscribe to abcteach.com - I renew when I find good discounts and keep it constantly ahead at least a year, I will continue this membership until my youngest hits about 6th grade.

That's pretty much it as far as paid websites go. I've not found any others worthy of paying for yet.

I'm only here, but I've done www.enchantedlearning.com in the past. That one CAN be really worth it; it all depends on you. There were years when I used it quite a bit...like when I was teaching the states, and I used their state maps/worksheets, state flag worksheets, etc.

We have lifetime subscriptions to always-icecream.com and clever-dragons.com. And we have a subscription to spellingcity.com.

Always Ice Cream and Clever Dragons are mirror sites that reinforce all subject areas in a way that earns you either scoops of ice cream or gold that you can then spend on building stuff or 'buying' stuff for a virtual pet.

I got a subscription to Spelling City because I wanted access to some of the features you can't get for free.

We subscribed to "morestarfall" for my 3 to 6 yr olds. It has tons of great stuff from pre-k to gr 1 and intro's some higher level stuff in a fun way. They have added some great stuff to the expanded website. you can use it on up to 3 computers, so I will have it going on both my DH and my computers when I need quiet 1 to 1 time with my Gr1 DS.

My son will use readingeggs as part of his kindy this fall. I paid for a month of IXL back in the fall, the kids liked it ok, but I wasn't always good at remembering to them on it.

We don't pay for any but I did win a lifetime subscription to clicknkids (phonics & spelling) and did get a free year of ABCMouse.com through my blog. Love them both!

We also got an extended free trial of readdingeggs.com for like 6 months or so...like it okay, but my oldest thought it was girly/childish

We got a free year of MightyBookJr and I LOVE it! It's how we 'do school' on days when mama is sick.

I've thought of doing IXL for math...

enchanted learning is helpful if you like worksheets. We have free access to it through a homeschool program in our area. We use it occasionally - like to find activities related to groundhog day. But I''m not sure I'd pay for it.
