Can anyone recommend a good Latin program? My children love to school with BJU but the Latin program looks a little intense for a 11 and 12 year old. What would you use?

Classical Academic Press has good classical language programs and a fun site that goes with them: http://headventureland.com/

We used their Song School Latin when the kids were younger and then moved up to the next level when they got older. We do it in spurts, but the kids really liked the stuff on their Headventureland site.

I would go with Latin For Children Primer A. I am using it with dd who is 9 and I really like the pace and how it is laid out. The video's are great and the online practice helps alot. We used BJU Latin for sd in 11th grade and it was ok but really suited for a classroom setting. Latin for Children is really geared towards homeschoolers.

I am using Prima Latina with my 8 yo. They have Latina Christiana for the older kids. I really like how easy it is on me to teach it. I have no foreign language background, and that doesn't slow me down one bit. The kids are catching on quickly ( faster then English grammar. ) and enjoy that part of our school day.
