I have been following a local story of a 2 year old boy who drowned Super Bowl Sunday. It is enough to give you goosebumps. I have never met this family, but I have friends who are friends with the family (and actually brought the boy's sisters to PE yesterday). It is amazing how our whole community has pulled together through it all. http://m.gvnews.com/mobile/sahuarit...cle_dece901e-577d-11e1-adb3-0019bb2963f4.html
LOVE this story. What an amazing testimony of God moving in His people still. Thank you for sharing!!
I think people often forget who's in control. I'm reminded of the verse that says Jesus did all those miracles so that people would believe, but that he did many more which weren't even recorded in the text. God has the power and the authority to save or not save anyone he wants from physical death. Perhaps there's a reason for this boy to live, and perhaps it was just plain mercy. We'll never know, and it doesn't matter. I'm sure the family is thankful for the gift they've been given, and that's all that really matters. God is always good.
Just an update, little Jace is going home. He completely gets to bypass the 2-3 weeks of therapy in another city 2 hours away that doctors anticipated. I am so glad the family gets to go home, they have 3 other kids that have been bouncing around with friends/family for weeks not sure whether their brother would return home and if he did what damage was done. During a discussion with friends, someone said that he must have big plans in his future. Someone else and I responded that he doesn't need to do anything else in his future, he will always have this wonderful story of a miracle to tell. His very existence is an inspiration to many.
