For those of you who know me, you know that I have been prayerfully considering homeschool for my 3 children. (3 months, 2, 3 1/2 years old) yes, they are all very young still, but I have been praying about this decision since my first son was born! I've wondered if I'm smart enough, dedicated enough, if the kids will resent me, what others will think etc. Of corse I still do not have the answers to these questions, but apparently GOD does! This past weekend I went on a retreat, and feel lue a lot of questions were answered. I have a great peace about it, and have realized that although I have many MANY fears, and worries, my PASSION has never left. I'm excited to begin the journey, but of corse nervice as well. I'm always up for some encouraging words! Yay for answered and confirmed prayers!
I'm 2 years in and still excited about our journey every day! The nervous, anxious feelings have left and the doubts have dissipated...it's just pure joy now! (most days LOL) Welcome to the world of weird homeschoolers! You're gonna love it here!
Yay! I, too, have prayed and sought my answer for over 4 years. My son was in ps pre-k and I got my answer and it was to homeschool! He is in kindergarten and doing great! Welcome to the group!
