Show some respect! (minivent)

    I agree that most moms don't intentionally try to be disrespectful toward their children, but I have to stop and ask why didn't the mom think first?

    I know that if I were to post something about my kids I would first ask, "Would I want other people to know that about me? How I would I feel if that information was posted on FB or anywhere else for that matter." If I wouldn't want it posted about me, then I am surely not going to post it about my kids. I think moms (not all of them) need to step back and think before doing.

    Which is the basis for respect, isn't it? If we really respect another person, we're going to consider how our actions affect them.

    disagree I think some people don't think before they type. I always thing they lost respect for themself and everyone else around them when they post that kind of stuff.

    Oh this happens all the time off facebook, too.

    My parents have never been computer users, but they certainly embarrrased us in front of (groups) people all the time - silly stuff and serious stuff. My mom could be somewhat of a bully with how she treated me.
