My friend and I were talking today about how greatful we are that we are homeschooling.. We both felt called to homeschool and had no clue why.. but as we were watching our kids practice this morning for the big concert event happening in TWO DAYS we can't help but think that THIS is the reason.. There is NO way any of the things that are happening right now would be if my kids were stuck in the box of school from 8-3:30... My younger ones and hers were busy playing and being KIDS and not stuck sitting in a classroom for 8 hours.. We are SO blessed!! Making memories and living REAL life.. THAT'S what it's all about!!! And I have to give GOD the glory for this.. We are doing this ALL for HIM..

I always feel very blessed when I think about all the activities that my daughter gets to be in because shes not in school for 6-7 hours a day.

We feel the same way. There is so much my children have gained from homeschooling. I would not have it any other way.

Yes, and for my children one of their favorite things to do is sleep over grandma's house and watch survior with her. That's where they are tonight. That wouldn't be happening if they were in school

Mine are all grown now, but I homeschooled for 17 years, and I'm glad I did--we had many blessings! Our relationships with our adult children are richer for it, too.

There is no way possible Ems would be able to accomplish the activities and ministries she has in her life if we did not homeschool.

I had this same moment of "I'm so glad I homeschool my children!" moment the other day. My son and I were engaged in a Math lesson and were laughing and joking around with each other. I had that ah ha moment when I suddenly realized we wouldn't have had that memory if he were in a public or private school setting. It was at that moment that I became so grateful to God for this wonderful opportunity to interact with my teenage son. In reality how many mothers do we know can say that about their children. We had fun and we both learned at the same time. It's these types of moments that make all the stressful moments melt away.
