I was just coming to post the same thing. Anyone here in the Dallas area? Hope you're all safe. I'm further south. Nothing going on here at all.

I'm in the Houston area and all is quiet here but I'm watching the Weather Channel and WOW, the Dallas area is really getting hit hard. I hope everyone there stays safe!

I'm about 40 miles or so west of the worst of it. We watched the live coverage of the tornadoes until we lost power. We had one un-confirmed touch-down 3 miles north of us, but just hail, rain, and wind here. So far, no death being reported, but lots of damage. And April has just started. *sigh*

Just noticed another squall line heading in that direction again. Gonna be a long day for some folks. Keep the DFW area in your prayers.

Contacted a work colleague of mine who lives right in the affected area. She's OK but without power right now.

I'm near Leissa. The tornado aspect of the storms originated just a few miles north and then spread quickly out across the metroplex. Arlington and Lancaster got hit the worst.

I'm absolutely stunned the Rangers still plan to play. The city's been designated as in a state of emergency--- and well-deserved, too. Trailers were literally flying through the air! Lots of roofs literally torn off. Thankfully, though, it looks like most people are coming out of it safely.

No weather up in our part but the video out there is scary!! Haven't heard from my family or friends yet, but assume some towers were damaged making it difficult to communicate.

I am three hours south of Dallas and it was gorgeous here today but our surrounding counties are now under a tornado watch. My husband's boss was in Dallas for training today when the tornados hit. Crazy scary stuff!

I'm 2 hours south of Dallas and we saw wind, rain, and some hail, but all in all things were okay.

Reportedly somewhere between 12 and 20 tornadoes (they're still counting and guesstimating), and lots of damage in the Arlington area and further east. Some near Cleburne which is only about an hour from here, some near Canton (big huge garage sale place, antiques), some at Forney and Sulphur Springs.

Some freaky pictures on the internet, and some people have lost quite a bit. Keep praying and thank you! <3
