YES! The homeschool office (or whatever it's called... didn't have anything like that in MO) said we had to use an approved testing site and home didn't count. I'd MUCH rather do it at home!

No problem, if I see her at church on Sunday I'll ask about it and if not I'll give her a call.

If you go to the arhomeschooltesting website there is a place to look at the sample packet on the left hand side of the page. Click on that and then go to "Testing with an Outside Agency". That should have been in the packet you received to register for testing. It looks like a pretty simple process, you don't even have to forward the results after the testing. I can't post links yet so I can't give you the direct link, sorry.

Hmm. Ok. I'll have to investigate that more. I got that paper in the packet, but the office (when I called) told me that it had to be with a group at an approved site. Not necessarily at the ones set up by the state (like, we could have tested with out co-op), but not at home. Then again, I only talked to the one lady and she wasn't very nice.

I asked around at co-op today and every mom I asked said you can't test at home. lol.

I'm not doubting your friend: more that this is obviously the information the office is giving.

So that's when you contact HSLDA, and let them tell the office what-for!
