I've not had a homeschool brag since we started & it may be my only one so here goes: My daughter is on a Junior Bible Quiz team with 4 other girls from our homeschool group. They have been competing since November & were in 3rd place after 4 meets. Yesterday was State competition and the girls came in 1st of 11 teams. 10 wins & 0 losses and they get an automatic spot at Nationals in Orlando this June. They could skip Regionals but we won't. I'm super proud and we will do our best to represent homeschoolers at National level I think we will be the only team representing a homeschool group & not a church. The #1 & 2 teams were tough to beat in regular season but yesterday was even harder because all the teams are from a church that has two or more teams. After regular season they then handpicked the best players from each team to make a super team. We are just a little ole homeschool group and these girls earned that spot without resorting to kicking off the "weakest link" so to speak. Congrats! I guess that means the fundraising must go on. Good luck with nationals (and getting everyone there).
Very cool! I did Bible Quizzing when I was in highschool. It was so fun, even though our team never did very good :lol:
