We decided to take a walk along Main Street today and see some of the shops this morning. Well there was an old book store and of course I had to go in! 3 floors of books the main level even had the old library cases with the attached sliding ladders! It was the whole family so I knew I didn't Have long to look, but went back to the kids section and found a boxed set of the McGuffey's Eclectic Readers for only 35.00!!! The full 7 volume set, in a box, and most of the books looked like they were never even opened, only the box showed wear!

I can't wait to go out and explore that shop alone. :)

Yeah. Bookstores themselves are starting to be hard to find.

I have a set gifted to me by an aunt. What a treasure!!! My Dd began in the primer and we have continued to use them for reading through even some of the middle grades. Amazing find!

Thanks ladies, I'm pretty excited about the little store! They have so many signed copies of books and even ARC books. I just can't wait to go back without the kiddos and get some great books! They also do book repair there which is so neat!

GREAT find!!! And a bookstore with THREE levels!! HEAVEN!!!
I found a whole set of those same books at a junk store and have never been able to figure out how to use them. They're just sitting there on my bookshelf collecting dust :(

ONLY three levels? Check out of of Columbus' landmarks, the German Village Book Loft! If you're ever in the area, it's a must-visit! (Click on the Extended Tour link!) http://site.booksite.com/4631/
