Help! We have mice!!

    Try peppermint oil. It's toxic and very unpleasant to mice. Buy a few small bottles and leave them open around the place. The mice will find your house stinky and just leave. If you have a really big house, soak cotton balls in peppermint oil so each bottle can be used for a larger area. Easiest way to get rid of mice IMO.

    You don't have to worry about smelly mouse corpses in the walls or poisonous chemicals this way either, and your whole house gets to smell like toothpaste.

    Edit: something like this might work, actually - peppermint cleaning fluid. You can never fill in all the nooks and crannies that mice use to get into your house, cats aren't reliable (mine is terrified of mice), and mice are good at evading traps. But peppermint is an easy way to make them leave on their own accord. Wash your surfaces with peppermint soap!
