One of our younger employees, she's probably about 20, just found out today that not only is she pregnant, she's 33 weeks. Now, I'm not even going to go down the "how is that possible" road because I'm sure there are reasons. But now she has roughly 7 weeks to prepare! Her family is a mess and they don't speak (she can't even find her mom to tell her) and her boyfriend's family, with whom she lives, is fairly poor. My pastor is putting the word out trying to find items for her, since she doesn't have a church of her own. I've put the word out to my homeschool group. Please pray that - The Lord uses this baby to draw this family to Him - She is able to wrap her head around what's happening (she's excited, but scared to death - We're able to throw together the necessities in time
Praying for this young woman and her child. My sister worked with a lady who was married and she didn't know until she went into labor and got to the hospital not knowing what was wrong and the doctor told her. She had been told for years that she would never be able to have kids. Baby was fine and mom and dad were too once the shock wore off.
She only took a pregnancy test because her boyfriend thought he felt movement and made a joke about her being pregnant. The next day he bought her a test (again, as a a joke). She took it just to say, "See, not pregnant! " Only she was!
Wow! Praying for her for sure, and for the salvation of this family! I've "not known" that I was pregnant before... *until* I felt the baby move. I was nursing at the time, and even took a negative test at what turned out to be the end of my first trimester. Took it because I was puking my guts out for 3 days and the doctor made me. Failed to mention that my severe dehydration may produce a false negative. *roll eyes* Of course, it wasn't my first pregnancy either, but, after a while... I don't see how you can miss that SOMETHING is IN there!
