Thanks for the welcome I was born,raised and STILL live in San Antonio...but I have lived in Boston and Orlando....plus brief stays in Tokyo and London. I have lots of questions. I look forward to getting to know ya'll
We're in Texas, too! I'm in the DFW area now, but I spent almost 20 years living in S.A. I graduated from Churchill H.S., and my brother and sis-in-law still live there. Welcome to the Spot!
There's at least 2 more here who are in or near San Antonio, and one more (besides me) who was there until just recently. We were there from June of 2010 until Feb of 2011 when we moved back "home" to where we are now. We weren't far from Sea World (and never went). :roll: You're in good company! Lots of opportunities in SA for group activities for sure. The FEAST convention should be coming up (or did it just happen???), and there's a homeschool store there, and groups upon groups upon groups depending on which area of town you're in. Anyway. Shelley that is so cool...we are living in Churchill Country..lol...Chris would have gone to Eisenhower next year. The world is such a small place
LOL Yep, Eisenhower was my middle school. It looked and felt like a jail when I went...and that was roughly 30 years ago. I can't imagine what it looks like now!
Welcome. We live in San Antonio. As Dalynn stated there are many homeschool groups in the city as well as many activities for homeschool families. FEAST already had their homeschool convention but they are having their annual bookswap on June 21. If you are looking into co-ops the local homeschooling groups sometimes have them. I know FEAST does as well as AACE Friday school. Again welome to the Spot!
