Even though I'm new here, could we start a thread about...

Just a little note to Jackie and others, not meaning to side step or high jack just to encourage especially the starter of this thread...
Even Jesus took time away to the side with out anyone... of course we read about the enemy (devil, satan whatever you want to call him) following him around trying to tempt and test Jesus during one of these times we can know that Jesus took time alone... we can see that and do the same!

We as home schooling parents need to especially take time away after all we have a full time double time job and some of you have one outside the home as well!
When we are busy in ministry we need to be sure it is not draining the life out of our family, and visa versa but mostly we have to be sure that we take time away from the church with our family off like Camping or if you can afford to go to a resort park, or hotel with a swimming pool do not turn on your cell phones do not tell people where you are at just enjoy rest and relaxation!

We went through a crazy time this past year fiscally and it also involved church ties and well we found that all the time we stuck to our guns with home schooling and teaching our children to follow God not man , kinda helped through a rough patch.

Do read our posts, but don't just look to us for help, for your help will come from God in many ways, but take the time to listen as a family, and assuming your kidos are young enough to still enjoy a good day at a lake or beach go have some relaxing fun! Let them build sand castles, eat chocolate and drink sodas! Lol that's living frivolous for me! hahah Order fish and chips and eat them n the sand and enjoy the crunchies ! lol

If all else fails, if your kids are old enough start taking walks in the early ams or late after noons when it starts to cool.

Put on worship music and just let it flow through your house hold! It will bring out some really nice moods and some wonderful peace!
