In the notebook set up instructions, she says to use 8 dividers, one for each continent and one misc. That's it. But all through the text she says things like "File under "Africa: Egypt."" I'm so confused! How are we, if we follow her model, supposed to handle the sub-categories (especially when many only have a page or two that go in to them)?
We don't really create sub-categories. We'll label the page "Africa:Egypt" at the top, and then put it behind the Africa tab.
I don't do notebooking. Perhaps you could use several sets of color-coded dividers? You wouldn't necessarily label Africa, but you'd have a divider for each country from Africa, all in the same color. KWIM? You'd just alphabetize the countries within each continent, assigning each continent its own color.
We write on it Africa:Egypt, and then file the subcategories alphabetically. I don't label them or any such thing.
Elijah is a "fill all the pages" kind of kid, so I think he's going to be into this. I don't know about Quinten and Xander, though. I guess I'll see soon enough. lol
