I have an 8th grader who LOVES the computer. He would like to learn more about programming and creating computer games. Does anyone have recommendations for this? I am looking into the site called Homeschool Programming and would like reviews if anyone has tried there products. I'm just thinking that if my son wants to spend time on the computer he might as well be doing something productive. Any of your thoughts would be so appreciated. Thanks, Karen

www.lynda.com has LOADS of widely varying computer tutorials, parts of which are free to view, but complete courses usually require the subscription, but I find it reasonable w/ high user reviews. Hope this helps! We plan to subscribe for our own 8th grader this coming school year.
