Thank you for apologizing and I hope things work out for the best for you and your family. Homeschooling has it pros and cons and it really isn't an easy thing to do, but the blessing that can come from it is great. I have been at a point of desperation before and after only about 1/2 a year of homeschooling I tried to get my son into a charter school. I was out of my mind desperate. I took things out on my son at times and really thought education needed to look like it does in schools. Now, I see learning and education totally differently and I have come to appreciate that my son is not an academic superstar and I love who he is, just as he is.
As a newbie to HS, I loved seeing this thread. I know I've found a home to voice my questions and concerns and (hopefully) help others with theirs.
