We just pre-enrolled both our 4th grader and our kinder in Julian Charter School. I've heard so many good things about it. I talked to our Education Facilitator and learned that the school will pay for the kids to do sports or any other class they want to take. They have a reference center with lots of stuff to "check out" for the year. I can't wait to get this year started and get the kids assessed to see how much they learned last year. I'm not sure if they are going to put my 5 year old in kinder because of her age or move her up to 1st grade since we covered kinder last year. Since it's a home study program, we shouldn't have to worry about her maturity level and being too young. We are all very excited!!http://www.homeschoolspot.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
Ambr, that's great that you're so excited about it, and that y'all are "covered" for sports participation and whatever else! And you still get to homeschool, too! I'm thinking that even if they call her Kindy, she can still work at whatever level she's *really* in, right?
