Ummm, I just loaded SOS 12th grade on the computer. It appears that I have lost what the kids did this past school year. How is that possible? It's gone everything they did is gone.

I'm not familiar with SOS but...

Did you use SOS last year? Maybe, like many programs (though I don't know who would design curriculum like this) when you install the newest version, during set up it will sometimes ask if you want it to remove the old version before installing the new...could this have happened?

Sorry, I know computer issues drive me crazy when I can't figure out what went wrong or how to fix it!

Yeah, I used it last year. There wasn't an option to save or remove last years work. It's frustrating. Now I don't have anything to show that they did any work last year. UGH! I'm going to call them on Monday and see if they can help me.

No need to call them. Because last years version is older than 2009 it won't migrate anything over. Meaning, because I didn't back-up their work to a disc, it's gone. This stinks! I backed it up to my computer but that wasn't enough. Oh well, I can't do anything about it now. Lesson learned.

    Oh so sorry!

That's a lesson we all know but very few people I know actually back anything up.

I know I keep MEANING to back up this or that...but I never have time to do it...
