I received them yesterday and after thumbing through them, I like them. They are very basic almost a little cheesy in knowledge but what ever works, right? My son saw them laying on the bed but made no mention of them to me. I'm really, really praying they work and help fill in some gaping holes he has in learning math. I'll update after we start school and let you all know he does.
I'm going to be looking at these for the rising 9th grader. She still doesn't get fractions or long division! Let me know...
Are those workbooks really that great? I will definitely look at them. Our favorite is beestar. DD has been using it for math. It combines all the syllabus from g1 to g8, interesting and systematic. The programs are full of all real life word problems, challenging stuff to help kids thinking. I think it is nice and easy-used. Lisa
We ordered the first 2 Fractions books ... using them as a supplement to LOF. I hope they do the job well. Please KUP.
I got the percent books for my son who was having a hard time with it. They have really helped him and he now gets it. I figured for the price I couldn't go wrong.
We used the Algebra series last year and my son liked them. He liked the small booklets instead of the usual big textbook. He could do most of the concepts without any help from me so that was a plus.
