Ok, so I feel it's time. I should warn people not to buy from her in the future. The package still hasn't come, and I've gotten pm complaints from two other members about her. I really hate to publicly post this, but I don't see any other option. She's not returning our messages.

 

UMMMMM!! NOOOO! SHe did NOT get taken!! She is getting the books AND a refund!! I already told her that! I did get busy. My job has completely turned my life upside down.. And NO I still have not mailed them.. I have them here but I can't seem to get to the po before it closes.. $15 postage paid for the books that cost 30-$46 is a STEAl... And now I'm paying HER to take them.... Please be patient with me.. They are coming! I would NEVER EVER STEAL from anyone!! AND she is NOT the only one who is waiting on books. I have 2 others.. One I donated a set to... I am NOT in the business of scamming homeschool people on these boards.. I PROMISE they will be mailed out before school starts up.. I apologize a MILLLION times over. i'm actually embarrassed that this is posted on the boards. So very sorry!!

 

Not to be rude but when I told you that I was mailing the books AND a refund you told me not to worry about it that you were in NO hurry for the books.. THAT WAS ON The 15th OF JULY!! If you are not in a hurry don't post on the boards that you are waiting for them and they still haven't come and that you are WARNING people about ME! WOW!! I don't know who the TWO people that complained about me are, but I only have ONE other person that I need to send books to. The lady I was going to donate to never responded with her address... I am a CHRISTIAN!! I LIVE AND BREATH JESUS!! I would NEVER EVVVVER steal from ANYONE!! I was trying to do the right thing by giving a REFUND AND the books!! I told you that!

 

I said I wasn't in a hurry because it was July, and because I know media mail (which I told you to use) takes 7-10 days. I told you not to use priority mail, because I didn't need them in 2-3 days. You said you're mailing them before school starts?? For who? School starts Monday for a lot of folks (including the other person waiting for books). It's already August. People need time to read through the materials and plan, too.

 

Don't be rude? Hum... You have our money and the books and since May! Our school year starts in July by our choice! Guess what, it's Aug and we still haven't started because we don't have all of our materials!!!! I messaged you more than 4 times with no response.

I was raised to treat others as you would want to be treated and by gosh if I took someone money for a purchase and still had their items more than 2 months later I would EXPECT them to be rude and short with me!

BTW I work, homeschool and am a single parent! I know what a turned upside down life is and I still mailed out books that I sold the same week! If you print a shipping label through paypal or the USPS websight you can leave it on your porch and they will pick it up for no charge! AND it even costs LESS!

 

Mommix3, it is hard when life gets overwhelming. Thank you for entering this thread and explaining the situation. I do feel 2littleboys warning was valid. It doesn't mean you intended to cheat anyone, but as a buyer I would like to know ahead of time if a seller had trouble shipping or answering emails. If you want to do an easy option I might put the items in a flat-rate priority mail box, print a label online, and request a pick-up from the post office. I used to get pick-ups all the time. You don't have to even be home.

 

Next time i will just donate to book samaritan.

 

Well, Here's the deal.... I apologized. I have the books ready to go out during my lunch break.. I did my part to fix the problem... I usually don't take this long to get things out... And I've bought and sold a million times.. Some I never recieved payment for so I know how annoying it can be to watch the mail day after day for something that never comes... These are coming. I'm not feeding into this drama... People emailing other members and saying I did things I've never done is unnerving.... It hurts and I've ALWAYS been honest,patient, and understanding... So my part is done... I messed up, I fixed it.... Be mad if you wish.. That's your right but I won't be reading this thread anymore.. So if you feel the need to bash me farther that's gonna be between you and whoever reads it and God.. In my opinion it's gossip from here on out and I'm finished... Books came in today! I told her I'd buy from her in the future, too, if she has anything I need, but I know it might not arrive quickly, that's all.
