My oldest dd is 9 and is a math genius and really dislikes it. She rode a 2 wheeler at 4, and plays with all ages. Her favorite passtime is to go outside to catch frogs and turtles and make little homes for them.

My dd 7 is also a math genius and explanation is never necessary. You can tell her something once and will remember it for always. She can watch her brother, and by her own calculations, know exactly her he will flip off his bike!

DS is 6 loves math and reading. He loves to play cowboys and indians. He has his own getup, and so does his dog (the indian). Since he is the only boy in our neighborhood, he tells his little indian to sit beside a girl while he pretends to save her. I have been told that allowing my son to play such things was very wrong (politically incorrect), and I respect this, but I also don't want to hinder his imagination.

My dd 3 can ride a 2 wheeler, knows her colors and shapes (although the circle is really the letter "O"), and a few of her alphabet. She also loves to be around older kids, and tries to be big as well. Everything is "I do it!"
