Hi, I just found this site this morning. I wish I had found it a long time ago...it takes me awhile, I guess . I've been married to Batman for almost 27 years. We have 3 children ages 19, 17, and 8. Our 8 year old is really excited to start 3rd grade in a few weeks. I think I'll post on the homeschooling board what we are planning to use for this year and see what other people are using...I love seeing everyone's ideas. We are a bit isolated up in the Northwoods of WI and don't really have any friends who homeschool and we aren't involved in any groups or co-ops. My only real homeschool association is through a couple of online forums, like this one. Anyway, there's not really anything more to tell for an introduction. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and hopefully contributing comments and suggestions that are helpful. I'm glad to be here!
Welcome! I laughed at your name when I saw it because I am also married to Batman! So funny! I didn't think anyone elses dh would call himself Batman. Glad you joined us. This is a wonderful group of people!
What?!? We are married to the same guy?? :lol: I kinda wish I could say I'm actually married to Christian Bale.......but, uh, no...that's not the case. Although, I could always pretend. :lol: Actually, people in town even call my dh Batman. He'll call people and say, "This is Batman" and they know it's him. Um......you should see his truck. :twisted: Are you sure you're married to Batman? I thought you were married to Mr. Incredible. :lol:
My dh is a huge batman fan and everytime he orders pizza he puts it under the name batman. He uses that name a lot! At first people gave him weird looks but now everyone knows who he is. Of course the other question he gets alot is "has anyone ever told you that you sound like seth rogan?" I also tend to think he is Mr. Incredible too. So it appears i have married a seth rogan/batman/Mr. Incredible man. Btw I would love to see a picture of your dh's truck!
:lol: So funny that he orders pizza under the name Batman! If it has Batman on it...my dh has gotta have it. But, it's also business related. He's a bat remover. It would be really cool if my dh's truck was outfitted to somewhat look like the Batmobile, but it really isn't. He found some bucket...like a Halloween candy bucket shaped like Batman's face and he fashioned that somehow to the front grill of the truck. He's got other bat decals and things in the cab. The doors have his bat logos. If it wouldn't interfere with climbing ladders I bet he'd want to wear a black cape. :roll: P.S...you did get that I said you were married to Mr. Incredible because of your siggy, right? Heehee.....
Yes I got the reference to Mr. Incredible. I think my dh would love to meet yours. As for your hubbys truck....I am sure mine would do his truck up too if I let him. My dh doesn't remove bats and I drive the truck sometimes so I really don't want a "bat" truck. I did tell mine though that I would be ok with a lifted pink camo truck. He didn't think that was going to happen.:roll: You know you might want to give your dh a cape for his birthday or something just as a "fun" gift. Not that he would really wear it while working. My dh has the full batman suit...however it doesn't fit anymore. He would still wear the cape if it wasn't attached to the headpiece.
KAPOW!!!! Is that an ok 'welcome'?? :lol: I wondered if your Dh was either a zoologist or exterminator. If my Dh was a super hero, he'd be Bibleman. That would make a fun thread, wouldn't it....If your husband was a super hero, who would he be?
