Hey all! This si a really cool, fun, and cost saving alternative to buying sensitive wipes for your kids! My kids have sensitive behinds, and we are always having to buy the sensitive type wipes (and they cost big bucks). Here is a recipe we are using that works GREAT!!!! Have Fun!!

This is my first time on this board, so I know this is kind of an old thread. I just wanted to say that I did this very same recipe with my youngest child when she was a baby. It was wonderful. I loved them. I also had a baby wipe warmer that I would put them during winter months. I actually totally forgot that I made these until I saw your link. The only problem I ever had was cutting the roll of papertowels in half. My dh had to always do that for me. My sister has a 9 month old. I think I'll e-mail her this link and see if she already does this (she's into all kinds of natual babying type stuff, so she might already do this too).

I've also found if you do buy store bought wipes, you can wash and dry them once and reuse them :)

I used Kissaluvs diaper lotion potion instead of making my own and highly recommend it!

You might want to add in some tea tree oil to the homemade wipes, the homemade wipes solution (with oil and shampoo/wash) can grow bacteria.

It seems that I figured out that if I bought baby r us, or sam's or target store brand wipes by the case it was cheaper than paper towels that were good enough to use to make my own.

Just saying. Not to mention the mildew issues with homemade.
