Hi everyone, I'm a stay-at-home father and homeschooler to a 4.5yr son and a 15mo son. I have an older daughter who's a sophomore in public HS. My wife and I decided to homeschool for many reasons, but between the fact that our son would be required to wait that extra year because of his birthday and what seems like more and more cuts, violence and drama in the public schools, it was an easy choice.

Now comes the hard part, actually doing it. I searched around and found this site and welcome the idea of expressing ideas and frustrations with people who see what I'm seeing. I have lots of questions, (seems more and more everyday) and I hope to find guidance here or at least get pointed in the right direction.

Thanks so much for being here, and I hope to become a member of this community.

    Jay

    Hi and Welcome, Jay!
My DH was the WAHD while our DS was homeschooling, too.
Looking forward to getting to know you.
