Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a mother of 3 girls, 2 of which I am homeschooling. (2nd grade and K, my third is a toddler, woohoo!) This will be my first time joining with other homeschool parents out there, and I desperately need it. Looking forward to reading the threads and getting to know all of you. We are going into our second school year of homeschooling and I DO NOT have it down pat yet. Trying to find balance between school, home, and church has been crazy!! Any suggestions on how to do the balancing act would be greatly appreciated. Blessings to you all!
Hi and welcome. As for how to do the balancing act... use a net! Okay that was pretty lame. Glad you joined us. We homeschooled for five years and I never got it all down pat. It was a wonderful five years though and I miss it so much. Beth
Welcome! I am new too...but not new to homeschooling. I agree with Sloan...I've been homeschooling for about 14 years and I still don't have everything balanced out. I'm always tweaking and learning.
Welcome. They're right. The balancing act is an ongoing thing. You get better at it over time. Practice makes perfect, right?
My suggestion: Prayer! Actually, I think that is why we say that homeschooling is a lifestyle... (but we try to leave out the crazy part).
