    We "started" today.

The Homeschool Room is set up. The desks are ready.

We had a huge breakfast, got dressed to the shoes, took pictures, made rules and did math. (Plus made it to school for football.)

I'm sitting here reviewing everything for tomorrow and it hit me. I'm Homeschool FOUR children. FOUR!

I'm an accidental HS, I never planned this. I'm sitting here freakin' out!

I'm not crazy or stupid thinking I can guide 4 kids through school by myself??

Well I don't have 4 but, if this is what is best for your kids then no matter if you are a single mom, mom of an only or mom of 10 you can do it.

Goodness, I only have 2 kids and we NEVER have a huge breakfast :) So already you're one up on me LOL

I taught my oldest 4 for years. It was only last year that I sent my oldest to school. It's not always easy but it is doable!

    You can do it!

And relax! If you have a morning where the kids eat a granola bar at 10 and still have their pajamas on at noon but you have enjoyed yourselves- that is STILL an awesome day!

    :)

Sounds like you are off to a great start! I only have one kid and our homeschool room is our formal dining room table and wherever else is conveinient. Breakfast sometimes is chicken strips!

I have four though mine are still young but my children seem to be learning at or above level with their peers so yes it's completely doable. I just remind myself that *I* have way more interest in my child personally and their interests and how they are learning than a teacher with 30+ kids.

As for our days well my son started school wearing a tutu the other day, finished it wearing a Christmas t-shirt and underwear. Today for breakfast my oldest served everyone cereal while I folded laundry in my room. What matters is that the learning happens, how and where and when are all just incidental over here.

    I home schooled four.
    You can do it.
Just realize that YOU can not do it.
Let Him do it through you.

My two oldest have graduated and gone on to college.
My oldest boy is in a dual enrollment class in college this year.

If you are really TRYING to do your best, then your kids will be fine!
    :)

    It is an adventure.
It is a full time job.

Your house will be a mess!
    Enjoy the journey!
    :)

You can do this. You've made it this far and you can finish it out as long as you want to. Just keep remembering the reasons you are doing it.
