Hi...I'm Karen, mom of 7 children whose ages range from 2-22. I have been homeschooling for over 16 years. None of my children have been in a traditional school setting, until my oldest graduated from our homeschool and attended our local community college. She has since graduated and is now looking for a full time job. Right now I am teaching 10th grade, 7th, 6th, 1st and preschool all with a toddler under my feet. I wouldn't give it up for anything! I'm looking forward to making new friends here on this forum!
Welcome! I've been homeschooling about that long too! Oldest now working after 3 semesters at college with plans to go back "someday". Next, in second year at UT- Chatt. Third, 12th grade Last, 9th grade. I work part time as well. Welcome to the Spot!

Welcome, Special Karen! We homeschooled DS from fifth grade til he was done ... He's about to turn 30. In 2001, after I retired from the ps system, we opened our little (TINY, even) independent private Christian school, where my DGS is now in second grade! We've had 44 students in 13 years, so not huge numbers, but God brings the ones He wants, and we try to teach 'em something....
