I'm lucky because our doctor homeschooled her children until they went to high school and our plunket nurse homeschooled her children until they started correspondence for high school.

My sons' pediatrician thought it was great, but did mention that out of the other older kids she knew that were HSed, the ones that did the best in college afterward were the ones who had a typical curriculum as opposed to more relaxed way of learning.
Our family doctor doesn't seem to really be concerned either way, but said she understands completely with the condition of our schools.

My Dr. is very supportive of it, and always ask the kids how they are doing. She also asks them about who their best friends are, (possibly trying to make sure they have enough socialization), but she has never said anything negative. They end up giving her so many names, of kids of all ages, she very rarely asks any more.
