Good morning. My name is Leamarie. I have just started homeschooling our son who is in Kindergarden. We had him start school but truely were alarmed by the things he was being exposed to already. I am not the most organized person, so this idea of homeschooling has been kinda scarey. I will do what needs to be done and if I can pull it off I am pulling the fourth grader out next. She used to go to Catholic school but we moved and there is no longer the option and she is distrubed. She comes home all the time concerned about what the other children are talking about. I just want them to be able to stay children while they are children. Not sure how to use this site but I am excited to learn. We are in Wisconsin.

Hi and welcome. You will love it here. Everyone is super nice and helpful. We homeschooled our youngest daughter for 5 years along with her older sister. The folks on here helped me get through the first hectic months and I made some wonderful friends here. Glad you joined us. Don't be shy about asking questions. Someone will be able to help no matter what it is.

    Welcome to the spot!

Don't worry, you can do this! Even if you're not the most organized person. Because honey, neither am I!

As scary as it sounds, I would suggest going ahead and pulling the 4th grader, because you just can't unlearn the things she's being exposed to in PS.

This is the place to be though, I don't think I'd have made it through without these ladies :)

Welcome! I'm not very organized either and I've been doing this for 13+ years. It's not about organization, it's just about wanting what is best for your child's situation. Good luck! Come back anytime with your questions, your victories, your challenges...we'll be here!
