Hello! just thought i'd introduce myself. I am new to homeschooling and to this forum. My daughter is 5 and son is 3...we live in Northern BC (Canada). So far I'm really enjoying the journey, but will admit I find it to be a lot of pressure at times. I used to be a high school teacher, and i never worried so much about my students' progress as I now do about my 5 year old's! Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning from everyone on this forum!

Welcome, Beaner. Try not to worry too much. Five and three are incredibly young. Enjoy them now. Play, read. They'll learn whether you want them to or not

Welcome! I'm a former teacher, too. One of the hardest things to do is set aside the "teacher" mindset and enjoy the ride!
