    Need some advice on an ag course. We dairy farm so Ag is our life but my DD wants a structured Ag course(textbook). I havent found much. Does anyone know about Exploring Agriscience by Dr Ray V. Herren?... Thanks & God bless!

    Are you looking for animal science, plant science, Ag Econ, or a general agriculture course? I would first contact your local Ag extension agent and see what resources he/ she could offer. Local colleges that offer agriculture courses will have textbooks in the bookstore as well.(these would be acceptable for high schoolers). Also you may try contacting your local Ag teacher at a high school to see what text books they are using.


    We are on a rural farm also and I majored in Ag extension services and education in college. :)

    You might browse the required books from a ag. school at a University. Perhaps you could find an older copy on amazon.com or half.com then use it as a road map and teach the ideas at age appropriate levels.
