Math Wrap-Ups

    Do any of your children use these? Do they like them? Give me your pros and cons, please!:D

    My boys have used math wrap ups. They are good, to a point, but then, I think they just start memorizing where the string goes. I prefer flash cards, where I can mix them up and quiz them

    They looked great, but in my house they ended up in a tangled mess lost in various places and were never used properly. The answer is on the back, so the kid does the wrap up and turns it over to see if it's correct. My kids followed the answer on the back and didn't look at the front.

    I think they would work if you had the right kid and a highly disciplined environment. They didn't work for me.

    Oh snap!!! I have seen those but never knew what they were. My boys would love them! I will totally be getting some now. Thanks!

    We like "math board" for the ipad (probably iphone too). I can change the difficulty for each child. They get a quick drill of their math facts and they get 5 min of game time per math quiz that they complete. My DS2 asks for quizzes every day.
