I love looking at how other people organize (or not. lol ) OhioMom got me thinking that I would love to see other people's spaces.

I don't have mine set up yet, but i'll post pictures when I do.

Love it! I'm thinking we should just grab a camera and shoot - no tidying allowed!! But can I follow my own rule?? ;)

    I'll be back!

Okay, here's our room. We school in the dining room, right next to the kitchen. However, we only eat here when we have guests. So the roll-top desk comes in handy. Usually I try to keep tops of desks and shelves a little tidier... but we're in that toddler stage where you take everything from them and put it up a little higher!! Okay, I always have some stacks though (being honest).

The first picture is the room - complete with shoes scattered, papers left by preschoolers and my messy desk. I have a stack of papers on either side of my computer waiting to be marked or filed. Our texts are behind my computer on my desk. Resource books are everywhere. My K boy has a little desk in the corner with an alphabet poster near by so he can try to get his letters right way around... try...

My grade two guy does his work at the table, but everyone joins there for lessons or crafts.

My preschooler has the corner with the red desk. She loves to take a workbook to 'her' school desk. The tall wicker cabinet beside her desk has a drawer for each subject - Math and manipulatives, All about spelling, and one for science. Then the very bottom has things my toddler is allowed to dump - he loves that!

So, there's my messy school! Welcome to the world of homeschooling 2 with 2 younger, and pregnant!

We don't have a "space". I do my teaching on the kitchen table. We have book cases in the living room, and the kids do most of their work in their rooms.

You can see our set-up here. It is a bit different now. It is definitely less roomy since we added some exercise equipment into our school room. Also, as my daughter gets older toys are mostly staying in the closet. She prefers to spend a good chunk of her day drawing so we often have paper everywhere!

No "space" here either. We have book shelves in the dining room, the living room, the hall, my bedroom, Rylee's bedroom. We have a supplies closet in the hall, plus stuff stored in the bottom of my hutch. We work at the dining room table, the coffee table, my bed, the kitchen floor, standing at the counter, out on the deck, out in the yard, in the woods... yeah where ever...lol

Embassy & MyKidsRock: I luv your spaces. <3 I wish I had a separate room like that. DH is freaking about how torn up the living room will be, BUT I homeschooled DS13 last year & we actually kept it fairly clean...sort of. Science Days sort of messed up the kitchen, but for the most part, it was fine. However, next year it's all 3...I must be nuts! But I honestly feel like it's just something our family REALLY needs right now. I can't wait to see the rest of the pics. (I already have mine posted on another link, but I'll put it here so they can all be in one place. It's going to be fun to look through them all! I usually do an image search on BING of homeschool rooms...I love getting new storage ideas!)

We school all over the house, yard, car, park, lake, and wherever our day takes us. But, I keep our school supplies in an armoire. It holds so much of everything that it is the most useful piece of furniture in the house.
