A dear family in our church just had a baby after YEARS of trying.. A few weeks ago the baby had surgery to remove a mass in her back.. Precautionary labs were done and the unthinkable became a reality.. This sweet baby had a type of sarcoma.. Pathology is still reviewing the slides to determine exactly what kind of sarcoma and what stage it is.. They should be hearing soon what the treatment plan is.. My heart just goes out to them... It makes all that I am dealing with seem like nothing.. Please pray for this family and for the healing of this baby!!!!
OMGosh. That is awful. I really have nothing to complain about with my baby. My heart and prayers go out to them.
Praying for healing! Our God is STILL a God of miracles! Like you said, it makes my problems seem so trivial!
Baby Kinsley had a second surgery where they placed a port in for chemo.. Still waiting on oncology tests... We are praying that there will be NO cancer found in this baby!!!!!
Update: Little Kinsley has an infection at the incision site.. They have her on two different antibiotics going into her little IV... The doctor did come back with the type of cancer Rabdomysarcoma (RMS).. Dr says that she WILL have to have chemo.. They still do not know the stage it is in and waiting on that to start treatments.. Please lift this family up in your prayers.. go to http://www.facebook.com/KissesForKinsley and show your support.. Thanks for all the prayers.. God is STILL ON THAT THRONE and he is BIGGER THAN THIS CANCER!!!
Wanted to update with a PRAISE REPORT.. BABY KINSLEY IS IN REMISSION!!!!! She is now a beautiful, happy, chunky, HEALTHY 8 month old baby girl!!!!
I was like Brenda, afraid to look. I am so glad I did and I too praise God for this wonderful turn around!
