I haven't been here in a while. Well, since my kids went back to public school. It has been a rat race here, we moved in December and I feel like we have been trying to settled ever since. When my grandfather died around Thanksgiving I had to put my kids back in school because my mother didn't want to stick around and help me school anymore. She said she wanted to travel and I don't blame her. I can't possibly school without her help because of my work schedule. I must say I truly miss it. At first I enjoyed it while we got settled but now I am counting the days till the year is over. We moved to get into a better school district and a smaller school. There is only 800 kids in the middle school which is nice and small. My kids are loving life. My son is playing lacrosse and my daughter did volleyball. They are adjusting well but I sure do miss the time I have with them. It's a lot of running around now. I just wanted to say hi and God Bless all of you! I wish I was able to be a stay home mom and school my children.
Hi! I can sure understand how you feel, but you have to do what is best for your situation. We pray that things continue to go well and that you will have a great summer!
Sorry about your dad. Life has a funny way of always changing, you may be able to homeschool again one day, don't give up hope Maybe when they are a wee bit older and can work independently you can have them do online homeschool or something? ETA: I didn't think my hubby would ever let me homeschool. My son went to PS 2 years. Now hubby can't ever imagine sending them back to PS.
HI! Glad things are settling a bit of a schedule at least, that should be good. I am sending one off to University this fall and going to send and teach at the christian school the older two took a year at ... we will see if he goes whole year or not, if they hire me money wise I will stay, if not maybe have to get apaying job.
