I would LOVE to get this going for my daughter.. We signed up a few years back when there was something similar going around and it never got to us before it disappeared.. Crazymama brought this back up and I would REALLY like to do this.. If I'm not mistaken, there was a journal that was sent with it and "stanley's" adventures was written down in the notebook then it was sent to the next person on the list... What do you think?? I think it would be a blast if we could keep it going.. If there's enough interest my daughter and I will make one and send it out this weekend.. I will put my name on the list a little farther down so I can see what he's up to and then I'll add to the adventure and send him on his way.. So, who's in???

I would love to partcipate... and a few going around won't hurt, maybe somehow try to make sure that they are going in different directions.. so one person isn't having to host and pay to ship 2 weeks in a row.
2-3 years ago there was the Flat Traveller swap where everyone interested made one and mailed it out. It was sent back with pictures and a few trinkets/postcards. AWESOME!! I've got the flat made.. My daughter named her Lou-lou since that's her nick name. She's made of felt and only about 6 inches tall. Hopefully she won't slip off somewhere and get lost being that small. We look forward to getting her started on her travels as soon as possible.. I was going to wait until after the 4th of July, But I think I want to go ahead and get her on her way. I would like to get a boy one going around too.. Who knows, I may surprise you with twins :angel: I'll try and get her traveling on Monday.. I'll come up with some "rules" so to speak as to her care and post them inside the notebook that's going to be going along with her.. Nothing major. Things like keeping her for no longer than 2 weeks if at all possible.. The journaling can be anything.. Pictures drawn by your children of what she's been up to works awesome! Or if you want to just glue in pictures.. WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO. I just want this to be FUN for all.. Not too labor intesive for the mom's. You can put as little or as much into it as you like. you are more than welcome to add to her outfit as well. She has no mouth as it stands right now so if your little feels she should have one, than by all means let them put one on her!! She's not fancy. She's a fun lovin' kinda gal looking for a good adventure with wonderful friends..
I remember that! We didn't participate in that one for some reason though.. Sounds like it was a lot of fun.. I'm too lazy to keep up with a million flats going out.. Kudos to the one got that one up and going.. That must have been a lot of work!!
