Just wondering if anybody here ever uses this site www.TeachersPayTeachers.com. I've been subscribing for awhile. Every week they send out a list of ten FREE downloads. Each efile contains complete lessons or projects, and are for PreK through high school. As the title implies, they're written by teachers for classroom teachers, but they've wised up -- they're including homeschoolers in the list of who it's appropriate for. Every one is marked as to what grades they're intended for, but we homeschoolers know that's just a guideline not a rule. Most of the packets run $5 or less, although there are some (with more stuff in them?) that cost somewhat more, even into the teens of $. Apparently, some of the teachers who write these things get a considerable amount of "extra" money this way, according to how many people need/like their efiles (yeah, I know, extra and money don't go together in the same sentence).

What caused me to mention it now is that today's post refers to lapbooks, among other things. Some of them are called flip-flap books or foldables or other names but I thought maybe somebody here could be interested. The site is taking a summer vacation but will be publishing new stuff again in July. You can still access the site, they just won't be putting out the weekly newsletter.

I have gotten some things off there for free. I would consider purchasing a kit off there as well if I felt it would suit our needs. I like the site and would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't already.
