I am looking for a good character curriculum. Any suggestions? I'd like to be able to do it with all of the kids together if possible!

We really like the Value Tales series. We also have the Help Me Be Good series and the Arthur's Family Values series, these are pretty good too.

There is a complete (free) curricula put out by Shiver Academy that goes along with William Bennet's Book "Book of Virtues". We did it a few years ago and I adored the stories, bible verses, etc.

There's also Character Journal , although, it looks like they've changed the site since I was last there.

My 8 year old is using the "Kids of Character" level from this program, and she is enjoying it. I really like that they have material for all age/grade levels, through high school. :) There is an easy definition of each character trait, a bible verse to support it, some scripture to look up and answer simple questions about, then some "What if" questions that get the children thinking about how to apply that specific character quality in how they would respond to real life situations.

I took the plunge finally after drooling over it for more than a year and invested in the We Choose Virtues family program. We LOVE it. It's simple and easy for the kids to understand, and it's easy for me to stay on top "Are you being diligent right now?" can be met with an accurate answer because they know what diligent is and what it is not.
