We are supposed to start back up today, I'm sooooo not interested in doing that yet.

I'm working on not being a slacker, so even though I want to say we will wait till next week, I can not let myself do that.

 

I hope your first day goes well after you find the motivation to get started.

 

Thanks. It was not the best day in the world, our language arts is very worksheet heavy... it didn't look bad ahead of time but today implementing it took all. day. long. and brought on tears in both them and me

 

Sorry to hear that. It's only the first day hopefully you all will find a better groove soon.

 

If you're doing the free Scott-Foresman, why can't you just take it one or two pages at a time? You don't have to do a whole section at once!

 

I'm not using that, I need to update what we are using...but too worn out to do that now..lol

 

I feel ya, we were supposed to start at the beginning of July. We started today! HA! The beauty of homeschool! We had a couple of false starts that ended up in one day done then nothing! LOL

I hope your week gets better.

 

I hope to start Thursday of this week. It will be a challenge but I think I will start even if I do not have all the curriculum in place by then.

 

We are not starting till the end of the month. I wasn't feeling it either.

 

We started s-l-o-w-l-y last week. That is key for us, me actually

 

This is my first year to start slowly, we only did language arts this week, I had history planned but then realized it was shark week, so we are watching some shark shows and calling it science
