I need to know if anyone has kids that has this product http://www.amazon.com/Rainbow-Loom-...8&qid=1377194046&sr=8-1&keywords=rainbow+loom and is it worth the money?
I saw this on allfreekidscrafts yesterday and thought Rylee would LOVE it. Reagan has a few rubber band bracelets he got at truck show in July and he wears them every day, thought for sure they would have broke by now but they haven't. I added it to my Christmas list for Rylee.
Rachel got one a few weeks ago and barely puts it down. I had to go get more bands at AC Moore. I spent $18 on it (because around here they're hard to find and a friend of mine works at a posh kids' toy store so she got it for me!). The bands are about $2/pack, and thats for about 300 and a bunch of the c-rings. All 3 of my kids are loving using it. I'm trying to keep them from fighting over it. So far, they've only made the simple bracelets, but my oldest is trying to figure out some of the more difficult styles.
Just saw a commercial for this today.... Rylee did not, but no doubt when she does she will be begging.
My sister bought one for her 10-year-old this weekend. She and my daughter made some bracelets this weekend while visiting my mom in the hospital. The girls have been making them without the loom for a few weeks, and actually thought that the loom slowed them down and was more tedious. They ended up just using the bands and the c-rings and not bothering with the loom!
Where did they learn to make them without the loom? So far Rylee has not seen the commercial, I'm thankful. I really would love to surprise her with one she knows nothing about for Christmas.
Gosh we can do that Thanks for the links Amy, I think we will hit dollar tree for some rubber bands, I will get her hooked and then get her the loom for Christmas
Brought one of these for my daughter I just recently purchased one for my daughter who is 9 years old. She's has been making bracelets manually without the kit. Just concerned about all the bands over her room, she is the neatest child in the world. She wants to build a website/blog to highlight some of her handy work. I will keep you all posted.
