Today is the first day of school here (and in many other places as well) and I'm super excited for the school year!! This is the year where my middle son (Andrew) will graduate (SQUEAL!!!). His grad pictures are booked for Thursday after school and he is super excited for the school year (one of the many things keeping him motivated is "I'll have one up on Christian (who didn't finish school)". We've been pumping him up all summer long "You've got this!", "your diploma is within reach", "There's light at the end of the tunnel", "Get through this year and prove to Mrs ___ that you're going to finish sucessfully, show her you can and will do this". He's even talking about how much time he's going to spend studying etc What an awesome year this is going to be
Congratulations! We graduated our first this spring- it was an amazing year and so full of things to cherish. Have your son take lots of pictures of his friends and the things he does during the year- it is something to remember later! Hope he has a fantastic year. MT3
He is beyond motivated!! That said he is a little bit upset with who they've put him into classes with (one of them being the student who assaulted him a couple years ago - sitting right in front of him in one class). And so now we're telling him "Don't let ___ be the reason you don't graduate, keep your head down, do your work and get through this" IF he applies himself, he will be done school after the fall semester is done (he has all the other credits he needs in this semester). Haha, he was ready to go to school at 7:45 am today !!
