Sd did about 35- 40 hrs a week(she dragged stuff out a lot). In NYS you are expected to do at least 990hrs a year for high school which comes to roughly 27.5 hrs for 36 weeks.
Honestly it depends on the week. Big project deadlines often make the hour number quite large! On average though I'd say that my senior last year did about 25-28 hours per week, while my sophomore did 28-30, simply because his math studies took longer and he had biology. That's a "guesstimate" though- as some days went quite smoothly and others would drag...... MT3
