Both my girls can sing and so can my oldest. We just found out last night that my 15 year old has a VERY STRONG country voice.. SO EXCITED!!! We've been searching for a male vocalist for their band, four-twelve, but so far nothing.. Last night at band practice Nick stepped up and showed us that he had it.. So Now we have a male vocalist! It's crazy, I'm telling you this kid amazes me.. He's a super talented musician and now he showed us that he could sing.. Our female vocalist has been telling us that he could.. Apparently they have been singing together and we didn't know it.. Wonder when he's going to let his secret out for everyone else to see. He's super secretive in everything he does.. He and the female vocalist lead worship on Thursday mornings before school.. He usually plays guitar, but I bet he starts singing with her now.. Sometimes it's just hard to take that first step.. :wink:
Hopefully this wasn't a one time only thing.. The more he sings in front of people the easier it will be for him and I keep telling him that.. Hopefully he will let go and allow God to use this as well.. And Maybe I'll be able to get some video of him the next time.. Funny how different kids are.. Both my girls could care less about singing in front of a crowd.. They do it and it's no big deal, but the boys; they prefer to keep that to themselves.. Their guitars are their thing..
